KOLIBRI LLC today announced the launch of OctoWatch DLP version 7, a significant update to its employee monitoring and endpoint data loss prevention platform. The release makes the Web Console fully available for both Cloud and On-Premise deployments, allowing organizations to operate with the same interface whether monitoring data is stored in the vendor’s cloud or on infrastructure controlled by the customer.
OctoWatch DLP is built for mid-market companies and teams subject to regulatory requirements that need one integrated solution for workforce visibility, productivity and attendance tracking, and insider-risk management, rather than combining a time tracker, a screen recorder, and a separate DLP tool. The Grabber agent runs on company workstations and terminal or remote desktop sessions. Through the Web Console, operators access live view and remote control, historical screens and video, activity and timesheet reports, channel monitoring (including files, USB, email, and IM where enabled), and rule-based alerts and blocking that appear in Risks.

What’s new in version 7:
Web Console for every deployment model.
Version 7 extends full Web Console access to On-Premise as well as Cloud. Console operators remain unlimited and do not consume floating licenses, which are based on active tracked users. Cloud operators continue using the hosted console; On-Premise customers run the Web Console on their own server with the same product structure: Grabber, Settings / Rules / Timetable / Computer profiles, Risks, and Anomalies.
Performance on real endpoint fleets.
The Grabber’s screen-recording path is optimized for low-spec PCs, reducing day-to-day impact on older hardware. Version 7 also improves Grabber efficiency on 32-bit systems that are still present in many branch and legacy environments.
Stronger messaging and investigation continuity.
Messenger interception for Chrome and Edge is enhanced for more reliable capture of browser-based communications. Bitrix24 message interception support is updated. A fix restores webcam and microphone live access for additional console users when multiple operators need to verify presence or investigate an incident. Print-job interception and broader messenger reliability issues are also addressed.
