Bundox Safari Co. has introduced its Live Wild Packages, a collection of multi-day safari journeys designed to connect wildlife viewing with conservation participation, walking experiences, retreat stays and broader travel across Southern Africa.
The collection represents an expansion of Bundox’s existing safari packages. The Live Wild Packages currently include Live Wild & Conserve, Live Wild Retreat, Wild Trail & Retreat and Wild Birding Explorer. The itineraries combine Bundox properties and wilderness areas with activities that may include guided game drives, conservation engagement, walking trails, birding, river experiences and periods of retreat.
The approach is intended for both international leisure travelers and travel professionals looking for Southern African safari itineraries that extend beyond a conventional lodge stay.
“The Live Wild collection reflects the way we want to develop safari travel across our business,” said a spokesperson for Bundox Safari Co. “Rather than repeating the same experience from one property to another, each part of the journey should add something different. Wildlife remains central, but conservation, time on foot, different landscapes and opportunities to slow down can all become part of the same itinerary.”
One example is Live Wild & Conserve, which places conservation alongside the safari experience rather than treating it as a separate excursion. Other itineraries place greater emphasis on trails, retreat time or specialized interests such as birding. Bundox also operates a portfolio of safari lodges and camps, allowing journeys to connect different styles of accommodation and wilderness experiences across Greater Kruger, South Africa and Botswana.
For the U.S. market, the format provides a defined safari framework for travelers who want wildlife viewing to form part of a broader Southern African journey. Couples and independent travelers can use the packages as the central part of a longer vacation, while travel advisors, tour operators and safari specialists can incorporate them into itineraries that extend to additional destinations and experiences.
Bundox also operates as a destination management company, allowing it to support the wider planning and coordination of Southern African travel beyond its own lodges and safari products. For the travel trade, this means accommodation, transfers, selected activities and additional destinations can be connected within a broader itinerary through one regional partner, according to the traveler’s schedule and interests.
Travelers can also extend selected journeys through Live Wild Package PLUS options. PLUS is not a separate package, but a selection of optional add-ons that can be incorporated into an existing Live Wild itinerary. Current extensions include the Panorama Route, additional time in Kruger National Park, stargazing and sleep-out experiences, and South African Winelands getaways. These options allow travelers and travel advisors to broaden the journey according to available time and individual interests without replacing the core safari itinerary.
The launch forms part of Bundox Safari Co.’s broader development of multi-experience safari travel, alongside its existing lodge stays and safari products. Current journey information and travel dates are published through the company’s availability platform.
