TOYCOLLECTR Issue 24 is now available at comic shops, bookstores, newsstands, and specialty retailers, delivering another behind-the-scenes look at the world of collectible action figures and pop culture memorabilia.
Among the highlights of the new issue is an in-depth feature examining Factory Entertainment’s upcoming sixth-scale action figures based on the beloved 1999 adventure film The Mummy. The article, written by toy industry insider and pop-culture advocate Mike Drake, explores the development of the collectible line and the enduring appeal of one of modern cinema’s most beloved action heroes.
The feature arrives as Factory Entertainment opens pre-orders for its highly anticipated Rick O’Connell sixth-scale collector figure, based on Brendan Fraser’s iconic portrayal of the adventurer and treasure hunter from Universal Pictures’ blockbuster film.

The collectible also features independently adjustable eyeballs, a scenic display backdrop, and premium collector packaging designed by Factory Entertainment.
Drake brings a unique perspective to the article. Beyond his work in the toy industry, he is known for his long-running art project, an eleven-year global treasure hunt involving miniature sarcophagi hidden on beaches around the world. The project has received international media attention and recently entered the collection of Ripley’s Believe It or Not!.
