Press Release

Melbourne, Australia June 1 2026

Dispensary Warehouse Group has announced the continued expansion of SOVRYN, its B2B software marketplace and ordering platform designed to connect alternative medicine brands, suppliers and pharmacies across Australia.

Launched earlier this year, SOVRYN continues to expand its marketplace ecosystem through an active beta rollout, onboarding brands, suppliers, products and community pharmacies ahead of its planned full launch in the first quarter of the new financial year.

Built to connect Australian and international alternative medicine brands with a network of up to 5,900 community pharmacies nationwide, SOVRYN is a B2B software marketplace and ordering platform that enables pharmacies to discover, compare, source and order products directly from participating suppliers across medicinal cannabis, peptide therapies, weight management treatments, hair loss therapies, men’s and women’s health, sexual health and libido treatments, wellness therapeutics, and other emerging healthcare categories.

The platform has been designed to support multiple distribution models. Larger suppliers with existing warehousing and logistics capabilities can transact directly with pharmacies through dedicated digital storefronts, while smaller and emerging brands may utilise approved fulfilment partners and distribution services as the SOVRYN ecosystem continues to expand.

For pharmacies, SOVRYN provides access to a growing ecosystem of Australian and international healthcare brands, products and suppliers that may not always be readily available through traditional procurement channels. As patient demand continues to expand across medicinal cannabis, weight management, peptide therapies, sexual health, hair loss and other emerging healthcare categories, pharmacies are increasingly seeking faster access to innovative products, greater supplier choice and new revenue opportunities.

The platform seeks to address longstanding challenges within Australia’s healthcare supply chain, where product visibility, supplier discovery and market access can be fragmented across multiple channels and stakeholders.

By creating a flexible digital marketplace between suppliers and pharmacies, SOVRYN aims to improve product discovery, increase market visibility, streamline procurement processes and create new commercial opportunities for both established and emerging healthcare brands.

A spokesperson for Dispensary Warehouse Group said the platform was developed to help modernise how alternative medicine products are discovered, sourced and distributed throughout Australia’s pharmacy network.

“Pharmacies are under increasing pressure to meet patient demand across a growing range of healthcare categories, yet many still rely on procurement systems that offer limited visibility into emerging products and suppliers.

“We believe pharmacies that can access new products, new suppliers and emerging healthcare categories more efficiently will be best positioned to capture future growth. SOVRYN has been designed to provide pharmacies with greater choice, greater visibility and direct access to an expanding ecosystem of healthcare brands.

“At the same time, suppliers are increasingly looking for more efficient routes to market. By creating a direct digital marketplace between pharmacies and suppliers, SOVRYN has the potential to improve product discovery, increase market visibility and reduce friction across the supply chain.

“As Australia’s alternative medicine sector continues to grow into a billion-dollar market, scalable software infrastructure and marketplace connectivity will play an increasingly important role in how products are discovered, sourced and distributed. While the long term market position of SOVRYN will ultimately be determined by pharmacy adoption, supplier participation and industry demand, we believe the opportunity to modernise procurement and distribution across the sector remains significant.”

The expansion of SOVRYN reflects a broader global trend toward digital healthcare marketplaces, procurement platforms and technology-enabled distribution ecosystems. Across multiple healthcare sectors, software-driven procurement solutions are increasingly becoming critical infrastructure that improves efficiency, transparency and market access for suppliers and buyers alike.

Dispensary Warehouse Group believes Australia is entering a similar phase of evolution, where software platforms, pharmacy connectivity and digital marketplace ecosystems will play an increasingly important role in supporting industry growth and improving access to innovative healthcare products.

Since entering beta, SOVRYN has continued expanding supplier participation, increasing product availability and strengthening pharmacy engagement nationally as it works toward becoming a leading procurement and ordering platform for Australia’s emerging alternative medicine economy.
