Frette returns to a category that has long shaped the brand’s storied history with a renewed expression of table linens. From formal dining rooms to intimate family tables, Frette’s linens have, for generations, been woven into the beauty and tradition of sharing a meal. Crafted to elevate the art of gathering, these pieces have long been defined by quality and attention to detail, values that continue to shape Frette’s approach to the table today.
Complementing this return is Turning Tables, an assortment developed with Frette’s Creative Design Partner, Tara Bernerd. Drawing on a shared visual language established through their 2025 collaboration, Disrupting Architecture, Bernerd’s distinct perspective introduces a spirited layer to the table, offering moments of colour and movement. Her iconic motifs are reinterpreted as intricate borders on neutral and coloured linens, infusing the tablescape with exuberance and flair while expertly showcasing Frette’s unrivalled craftsmanship.
Tara Bernerd says: “We all aspire to eat well, live well, and share those joyous experiences, creating memorable moments that stay with us. Table placements are part of the stage that nourishes these occasions as they literally unfold, time and time again. This collection takes a contemporary, dynamic look at tradition, be it placed on a tray in front of your next series, on your yacht or your table of choice.”
Frette’s own selection of table linens is realised in the brand’s signature cotton–linen blend and a considered palette that echoes its broader design universe. Subtle in expression and meticulous in construction, the pieces feature Frette’s classic hemstitch detailing and geometric borders, offering a refined foundation that layers beautifully across seasons and occasions.
Accompanying the linens is a curated selection of objects designed to elevate the experience of entertaining. Elegant trays in glossy varnished oak and walnut feature decorative leather inlays bearing the signature motifs, while circular leather coasters, each with an individual design, are unified by a refined palette of burgundy, tan, and blue. Keepsake jars in rich lacquerware and travertine extend the collection beyond the table, finished with intricately hand-stitched leather lids, scalloped edges, and bronze finials that echo the Modernism-inspired patterns.
Beyond the tablescape, the partnership with Tara Bernerd expands into lighter tonal interpretations of the luxurious Disrupting Architecture throws and cushions. Building on the introduction of cashmere in bold, rich colourways, the new palettes offer a spectrum of refined tastes, while original patterns and motifs reflect cultural nuance and capture Bernerd’s symbolic, confident approach to colour.
“We wanted to reintroduce table linens in a way that felt true to Frette, crafted with intention and driven by innovation. Tara Bernerd’s contribution introduces a vibrant point of view that complements the collection beautifully,” says Filippo Arnaboldi, Frette Group CEO.
