Both bags are built for riders who want practical, low-profile storage that works across a wide range of bikes without a complex install.
The Patriot line is made from 1680D Nylon Cordura, a fabric known for its resistance to abrasion, tears, and general road wear. The mounting design is a throw-over style, meaning the bags simply drape over the rear seat or fender without drilling or permanent hardware. No turn-signal relocation is needed for either size, which removes a common barrier riders face when fitting universal motorcycle saddlebags.
The 18L medium measures 13″ x 6.75″ x 9″ and holds up to 1,098 cubic inches of gear across the pair, enough for a weekend’s worth of riding essentials, or roughly 25 cans by Viking Bags’ own measure. The 10L small Throw-Over bags come in at 10.5″ x 4.75″ x 8″ with a combined capacity of 610 cubic inches, fitting 14 cans per the same scale. Both bags come as a pair.
Each size includes MOLLE-style webbing on the exterior, allowing riders to attach pouches, tools, or other gear without opening the main compartment. The 18L also includes a detachable interior organizer sized for a phone, keys, and a wallet. An adjustable yoke on both models lets riders dial in the fit across different rear sections and sissy bar setups, including both detachable and hard-mounted configurations.
