EDITORIAL INSIGHT: Context, industry insight and market perspectives of this news story

This partnership highlights the ongoing focus among enterprise merchants on optimising payment options for international customers, particularly in regions where local payment preferences can significantly affect conversion rates. By enabling access to a wider range of payment methods through a single integration, Yuno and Ecommpay are addressing a practical challenge for businesses expanding across Europe and Asia-Pacific.

For merchants operating in retail and subscription sectors, the ability to offer familiar local payment methods alongside global schemes is increasingly seen as a commercial necessity rather than a differentiator. This development is likely to be of most immediate interest to larger merchants seeking to streamline their payment infrastructure while maximising local relevance in new and existing markets.

Yuno merchants can now access Ecommpay’s 100+ local payment methods, card payments and open banking through a single integration

Ecommpay, the inclusive global payments platform, is now available through Yuno, the AI-native intelligence system for global payments and financial services.

The partnership gives Yuno merchants a wider range of payment methods to improve checkout performance in key international markets, including local payment methods across selected European and Asia-Pacific markets.

Through a single Yuno integration, merchants can now offer Ecommpay’s card payments, including Apple Pay and Google Pay, instant payment schemes, open banking in 11 European markets, and more than 100 global and local payment methods, including PayPal, MB Way and PSE in Colombia.

The partnership focuses on enterprise merchants in retail and subscription, where fast time to market and broad local coverage matter most.

“Enterprise merchants shouldn’t have to choose between global reach and local performance,” said Mauricio Schwartzmann, Chief Financial Services Officer, Yuno. “With Ecommpay on Yuno, merchants can go live faster with the payment methods their customers expect across Europe and Asia-Pacific, backed by Ecommpay’s in-house fraud prevention. One integration, broader coverage and stronger performance in every target market.”

Roy Blokker, Head of Commercial at Ecommpay added: “Yuno and Ecommpay share a mission to help businesses navigate and thrive in a fast-changing e-commerce landscape. Together we have built a portfolio that gives Yuno merchants a greater range of payment methods, reducing drop-offs when customers don’t see a familiar way to pay at checkout.”

Yuno connects merchants to 1,000+ payment methods, providers and fraud tools in more than 190 countries and territories through one API (availability varies by market and provider).

Because Yuno does not acquire, every routing decision is driven by transaction performance data alone.

Payment services in the UK are provided by Ecommpay Limited, authorised by the FCA (FRN 607597). Services in other markets are provided by the relevant licensed group entity for that jurisdiction. Subject to scheme cut-offs, market availability and individual transaction processing times.
