Embankment Kitchen (EK), the vibrant restaurant located in CitySuites Aparthotel in the heart of Manchester, is launching its new Spring menu with a cracking offer for lovers of wining and dining. Link to imagery HERE.
Today (Thursday 29 February), two people sharing the ‘5 small plates for £30’ menu can each enjoy a 175ml glass of house wine on the house. It’s the perfect informal evening to enjoy warm Northern hospitality as you eat, drink and unwind and truly feel at home.
The delicious new menu features seasonally-focused dishes created by Head Chef Josh Singleton and his team, who source the best quality ingredients from around the North West and make everything in-house from scratch.
The small plates are perfect for sharing, and new dishes include: Pan Fried Squid and Chorizo, roasted peppers, garlic, chilli & honey; Ham and Smoked Cheddar Croquettes, parsley & garlic mayonnaise and Shredded Lamb Mini Flatbreads, citrus slaw, fresh pomegranate & mint yogurt
There are new tasty mains on the menu too, including: Chicken Ballotine, filled with spinach & mozzarella, wrapped in parma ham, with sweet potato gnocchi, honey & rosemary baby carrots, roasted sweet potato & chicken butter sauce; Garlic Monkfish Tail, Bombay potatoes, charred tenderstem broccoli, fresh herb oil & rich massaman curry sauce and Roasted Shallot, Chilli & Garlic Pappardelle, asparagus, broccoli & toasted pine nuts, grated parmesan & fresh herb oil.
Josh Singleton is keen for diners to try the Roasted Lamb Rump, garlic butter layered potato terrine, sautéed oyster mushrooms with peas & broad beans, finished with mint & garlic pesto and the Lobster and King Prawn Linguini, sautéed garlic king prawns, lobster meat, squid ink & chilli linguini, fresh dill, spring onion & crispy shallots.
EK offers plenty of options for vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free diets, plus desserts, cocktails, wines and beers, and is open seven days a week.
