Wildfire Prevention Co. (“WPC”) is pleased to announce it will serve as a preferred service provider for the Insurance Institute for Business & Home Safety’s (IBHS) Wildfire Prepared Home designation program. Last month, IBHS announced expansion of Wildfire Prepared to Texas, along with nine other states, as demand grows for proven, research-based wildfire mitigation actions that help homeowners and builders in high-risk areas better protect their homes and neighborhoods from wildfire.

Working with IBHS allows us to provide Texans not only with best-in-class research and education, but also with practical solutions that can help them maintain insurance coverage and better protect their properties in the event of a wildfire.”
Established in 2022, IBHS’s Wildfire Prepared is built on the latest IBHS research examining how homes ignite during wildfire events and what mitigation measures most effectively interrupt structure-to-structure spread. WPC enhances this program by offering hands-on support, including remote and in-person consultations with wildfire risk specialists, making it easier for Texans to take meaningful action.
