Viking Bags has released the Odyssey 80L Adventure Touring Luggage System, a strap-mount kit built for ADV bikes across ten major brands. The system fits Harley-Davidson, BMW, Honda, Yamaha, Triumph, KTM, Royal Enfield, Suzuki, Kawasaki, and Ducati ADV models, and mounts without a luggage rack.
The full kit holds 80 liters of gear, the rough equivalent of 112 cans, spread across items that cover most long-ride needs. The box includes an Odyssey harness, two 25L roll-top dry bags, a 22L tail pack, a tent pole dry bag, and a heat shield. All dry bags are 100% waterproof.
The outer shell uses ballistic nylon and TPU fabric, both chosen for their strength on rough trails. MOLLE panels on the top flap let riders clip on small pouches or tools. Below that, a clear map pocket can be removed when not in use. Two small zippered pockets on the bottom flap keep hygiene items within easy reach.
The harness legs can be set to different angles, which helps the system sit flush on both slim enduro bikes and large ADV models. Setup uses secure straps with no special tools or added hardware, a practical gain for riders who want less fuss before a long haul.
The 22L tail pack deserves a closer look. It rides in the center of the harness but detaches on its own. Once off the bike, it works as a carry-on bag or a backpack. The straps fold away when it is rolled up as a duffel. This makes it useful for riders who mix saddle time with on-foot travel.
The tent pole dry bag, also included, clips to the main harness or to other bags via webbing, a detail long-distance campers will find practical.
Fit guides and bike-specific versions of the Viking Odyssey ADV touring luggage system are listed on the Viking Bags’ website.
