Two Yorkshire Mums, Amy Melling and Laura Batchelor have created a new membership for parents to navigate parenthood.
Your Little Village membership is aimed at anyone who looks after children in their care including parents, carers, and grandparents. As there are so many stages in children growing up, the Village offers support and advice from industry experts along the way, from bump, to birth and beyond.
Co-Founder Amy Melling says:
“Laura and I have talked for a while about setting up a support network for parents. We’ve decided to create this new membership for parents to navigate parenthood and become part of a supportive community with like-minded people. It’s real life, with real advice and no judgement. It aims to be a one-stop shop for parents and carers to get advice across so many aspects of parenthood with access to the community and the village that we all really need.”
In their first month, they have already secured some recognisable names on their panel of experts, who will provide exclusive content in the form of blogs, podcasts and videos. Amongst so many experts, Katie Higham from Katie’s Classroom shares advice on education and children’s mental health and Michele Trevor from Mini First Aid in West Leeds, Bradford and York offers all the advice on children’s first aid. Other experts include Chadwick Lawrence Family Law firm, Andy’s Man Club and Personal Trainers from HD3 Fitness Centre.

Laura Batchelor adds:

We give members the complete picture and offer advice and tips in the privacy of their own home.”
As Laura and Amy are aware of the current cost of living crisis and parents are often struggling to make ends meet, they have decided that for anyone who signs up to the membership before 31st December 2022, they will get a full year free!
