Press Release

Silverstone JUly 2026

Why should your satnav already be set to Silverstone for Sunday August 16th? For TRAX, the UK’s original and most iconic performance car show. Bringing together the very best of modified, performance and enthusiast interactive automotive culture for an unforgettable day, it’s the full-throttle event where performance car culture truly comes alive.

But that’s not even half the story. Where else can you feel a 1,000bhp drift car shake the grandstand, see the UK’s biggest gathering of performance and modified cars, sit passenger in a drift taxi or drive the iconic Silverstone circuit yourself, and meet the builders, creators, modifiers and drivers in person?

With around 4,000 display vehicles showcasing everything from cutting-edge new builds and show-winning custom creations to modern performance heroes, get up close to an incredible range of curated feature displays, including The Grid Show & Shine, American Car Corner, Low Riders, Hot Hatch Heroes, 25 years of the modern MINI, modified VW Transporters, and much-loved classics. New for 2026, The Great Unveiling offers an exclusive first look at five of smoking hot, never-before-seen project cars, revealed to the public for the very first time.

Unlike surfing from your sofa, and laps ahead of most other events, TRAX offers unique ways to get involved. Experience the legendary Silverstone Circuit from behind the wheel of your very own car with 20-minute sessions throughout the day. Want to take it up a gear? Take on the challenge of Silverstone’s purpose-built karting circuit, or raise the adrenaline by taking a ‘Drift Taxi’, and experience professional-level sideways action first-hand.

Delivering a packed programme of live entertainment throughout the day, superstar displays and meets include Steve ‘Baggsy’ Biagioni introducing his spectacular 1,000bhp Toyota Corolla GR drift build for its first-ever modified car show demo. Meet automotive YouTuber Mark McCann, and be pinned to your seat by smoke-filled Matsuri Drift Kings demos featuring the UK’s top sideways speed and slewing talent.

Jaw-dropping lunchtime stunt shows from Baggsy, Drift Kings, wild autograss action, and off-road ace Luke Woodham sending his ProLite truck skyward, guarantees all-day live-action entertainment on and off the track.

Event organiser Phil Weeden says: “TRAX has always been about bringing the entire performance car community together. Whether you’re into modified cars, motorsport, drifting, show cars, track driving or simply love great automotive culture, there’s something here for you, at one of the few events where you can not only admire incredible builds and meet the personalities behind them, but also get hands-on, and experience the thrills of the circuit yourself!”

With live entertainment, a packed retail village and the unrivalled backdrop of Silverstone TRAX is the UK’s ultimate performance car festival! For full event details, discounted advance, VIP, club and camping tickets, plus full-throttle updates, visit www.traxshows.co.uk
