The Hair Repair Club Opens At Derbion

Derby-based hair replacement specialist, The Hair Repair Club, has opened the doors to its first standalone store at Derbion after winning the centre’s independent retail initiative, Hatch.

The Hair Repair Club opened in-centre on Level 1 on Friday 4th November, providing men of all ages the opportunity to discover non-surgical hair replacement systems within the brand’s first physical store.

The local independent business was announced as the winner of the centre’s Hatch competition, which offers small business owners the opportunity to take their brand to the next level and open a free-of-charge store within the centre, this summer. The potentially life-changing prize includes a store in Derbion for a period of six weeks, completely rent-free.

The Hair Repair Club has helped those suffering from hair loss and male pattern baldness across the UK for nearly five years, and has a network of Salons and Training Academies across the country that produces high quality and cost effective non-surgical hair systems.

Founder and managing director of The Hair Repair Club, Tom Walker, hopes the brand’s first physical store in Derbion will be a step towards helping to normalise and reduce the stigma around men’s hair replacements and transplants.

Tom commented: “We’re excited to have officially opened the doors to our first standalone store at Derbion, after winning the Hatch initiative. Our store offers a non-judgemental safe space and men of all ages who are interested in learning more about our non-surgical hair systems are more than welcome to pop in at any time to talk to our friendly team to discover how we can help restore their confidence with our range of service.

“We look forward to this new chapter of The Hair Repair Club and to welcoming existing and new customers to our first ever store!”

Adam Tamsett, centre director of Derbion, commented: “We know that our customers are on the lookout for up-and-coming brands and a range of services to enjoy alongside our breadth of big-name retailers, and Hatch is a great way for us to give local, independent businesses the support they need to take the next step up and for them to be able to have the opportunity to try retailing in a shopping centre.

“We’re delighted to see The Hair Repair Club open its first standalone store at Derbion and are extremely proud to be offering this life-changing service for shoppers, which is thanks to the incredible work that The Hair Repair Club provides its customers.”
