Six years on: Bristol housebuilder goes from strength to strength

A Bristol housebuilder is celebrating the success of one of its first developments, six years on from launching.

Redrow South West’s Frenchay Park, on Frenchay Park Road, launched in 2017 and is currently in its sixth phase of building, having already delivered a significant number of new homes to the area.

Since its launch, the development has brought 407 much-needed homes to the area, alongside an initial contribution of £7.35 million to the local community, supporting improvements to transport, education and amenities including local sports facilities and a library.

Over the years, Frenchay Park has continued to support the community to thrive, with donations to Little Stoke Football Club, Frenchay Community News and Begbrook Bowls to name a few.

Charlotte Newnes, Area Sales Manager for Redrow South West, said: “For me, one of the highlights of working at Frenchay Park has been getting to know the local area and building relationships within the local community – from day one we’ve been welcomed with open arms and continue to strengthen our connections daily. It’s been fantastic to watch the thriving community here in Frenchay grow.”

Simon Fowler, Customer Service Manager at Frenchay Park, added: “I feel incredibly proud to have been part of this development since launching – from the very first brick being laid and meeting potential customers to now having incredible relationships with the wonderful residents who live here at Frenchay Park.”

Construction is due to finish at Frenchay Park in 2024, with 71 homes left to build bringing a grand total of 478 high-quality homes to the region.

Sian Smith, Sales Director for Redrow South West, said: “It’s been wonderful to see the development and community grow at Frenchay Park over the last six years.

“The team has worked incredibly hard to provide the best quality homes possible, and to make new residents to the area feel welcome. We’re proud of the connections we’ve made and the contributions we’ve been able to make to the community – it’s been fantastic watching a thriving community flourish thanks to new and improved amenities including sports pitches and open spaces.

“Frenchay Park is a fantastic location, with surrounded by beautiful greenery yet only a short distance from Bristol city centre – we’d encourage anyone looking for a new home to visit us and see what life at Frenchay Park is like!”

Located just six miles from the heart of Bristol, Frenchay Park is within easy reach of transport links into the vibrant city. Offering the perfect balance of city-life, while being surrounded by open parkland and stunning walks, the development is perfectly placed for first-time buyers, growing families and commuters alike.
