Sedulo celebrates 14 years and projected £15m revenue with conference at The Spine in Liverpool

National accountancy and business advisory firm, Sedulo, celebrated 14 years in business and record-breaking £15 million in projected revenue last week with a special conference in Liverpool.

The Sedulo gathering, which took place in The Spine building in the city’s Knowledge Quarter, brought together 175 of its staff across its offices in Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds and London.

The business conference included a powerful speech from its dynamic founder, Paul Cheetham-Karcz, on the bright future ahead and its ambitious plans for 2023 and beyond. There was also a panel discussion which included contributions from Managing Director Cathryn Wright, who is also responsible for the firm’s London operations, and its UK Head of Tax, Sarah Richards – recently appointed following stints at Deloitte and Ernst and Young.

Sedulo, which is one of the fastest-growing UK mid-tier advisory firms, has a string of high-profile clients from the worlds of entertainment, music and sports and is renowned for its quality boutique service.

Meanwhile the culmination of 14 years in business and an estimated £15 million in revenue is a major milestone which comes as Sedulo eyes further expansion, with demand for its services in cities such as Glasgow, Birmingham and Newcastle.

Sedulo Founder Paul Cheetham-Karcz said:

“We have been on an incredible journey over the last 14 years, with some remarkable achievements for our clients. We have worked tirelessly to establish Sedulo as a mid-tier firm and have a positive and exciting forward trajectory.  We are doing great work and have built a strong team but this really is only the beginning for us.

“We have significantly strengthened our team in recent years to reflect the demand we are seeing across the board. Our senior personnel now possess the experience to match what clients want from a modern, forward-thinking advisory firm.

“There are some big plans in the pipeline for the next couple of years and everyone is relentless in pursuing our goals. It is a very exciting time and I am proud to lead such a fantastic team. I am looking forward to where we will go next.

“Our conference in Liverpool follows our new office opening in the city in 2021. There is a dynamism about Liverpool that fits with Sedulo’s energy as a market leader. It is fantastic to have a base in the city. Our decision to open here is paying off dividends, because we are partnering with some brilliant brands and working with them to take their business to the next level.”
