EDITORIAL INSIGHT: Context, industry insight and market perspectives of this news story

This latest ranking highlights the commercial power of young British influencers, with social media personalities now generating multi-million-pound media value for brands in just a matter of months. The findings reflect a maturing influencer marketing sector, where value is not solely determined by follower counts but by engagement, cross-platform reach and the ability to activate audiences for advertisers.

For brands and agencies, the data underlines the importance of a targeted approach to influencer partnerships. As platform dynamics shift and individual creators build distinct audiences on Instagram and TikTok, campaign planning increasingly requires a nuanced understanding of where influence translates into measurable returns. The concentration of value among a handful of creators also suggests that competition for top-tier partnerships is likely to remain intense.

2. Angry Ginge – £13.63m

Salford-born Morgan Burtwistle built his following through football and gaming streams before winning I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2025. She has mentioned 40 brands on Instagram and 14 on TikTok in the past six months including,  Air BnB and Deliveroo.

5. Grace Keeling – £7.51m

6. Molly-Mae Hague – £5.43m

Already developing a fashion-influencer career before Love Island, Hague went on to work as PrettyLittleThing’s creative director and launch her own fashion business. She also recorded an exceptional platform-reported Instagram engagement rate of 60.62%. She has only posted four pieces of sponsored content on Instagram in the past six months. Her most valuable was for Adidas Originals and achieved an EMV of £760K.

7. Joe Baggs – £3.12m

Baggs first became known through his family’s appearances on Gogglebox before building his own comedy and commentary audience. He generated £2.44 million on Instagram and £675,000 on TikTok. Joe has mentioned 88 brands on Instagram in the past six months and posted 35 pieces of sponsored content. On TikTok, he’s posted 11 pieces.

  1. Tennessee Thresher – £2.07m

The former athlete became a model and lifestyle creator, later appearing in Footasylum’s Locked In. She delivered a balanced performance, with £977,000 from Instagram and £1.09 million from TikTok. She has mentioned 51 brands on Instagram in the past six months and 10 on TikTok.

She has since secured fashion and beauty partnerships and moved into presenting, including co-hosting the MOBO Awards. She has mentioned 55 brands on Instagram in the past six months, including White Fox Boutique, Vinted and Boots UK.

10. Grace Beverley – £1.54m

Beverley built a fitness following as GraceFitUK while studying at Oxford University. She subsequently founded activewear company TALA, fitness platform Shreddy and The Productivity Method. Grace has mentioned 53 brands on Instagram in the past six months.

Instagram generates the greatest value

The top 10 under 30 influencers generate more value on Instagram, and their performance varies depending on the platform. Tommy Fury dominates Instagram but places tenth on TikTok. Nella Rose leads TikTok, while Angry Ginge and Jack Joseph demonstrate the strongest high-value presence across both platforms.

Amelie Charlize and Max Balegde also emerge as TikTok specialists. Charlize ranks fourth on the platform with £1.27 million, while Balegde ranks eighth with £748,000.

Value is heavily concentrated: Tommy Fury, Angry Ginge, Nella Rose and Jack Joseph account for approximately 69% of the combined EMV generated by the leading performers.

However, Molly-Mae’s exceptional engagement rate of 60%, which is by far the highest, demonstrates why follower numbers and EMV cannot tell the whole story. Creator selection should also consider platform, audience response and campaign objectives.

Alicia Van der Meer, Kolsquare’s UK Marketing Manager, says: “Influence is no longer simply about having the biggest following. Tommy Fury’s dominance on Instagram, Nella Rose’s strength on TikTok and Molly-Mae’s exceptional engagement show that creators deliver value in very different ways. For brands, the opportunity lies in understanding which personality, audience and platform best fit the campaign, not just choosing the person with the most followers.”
