AN award-winning entrepreneur has been awarded with a regional accolade.
Portsmouth-based PR firm, Hope McKellar PR has won the Prestige Awards’ PR Consultant of the Year award, adding to the company’s list of accolades.
This award recognizes the exceptional work and contributions made by founder Hope McKellar and her team in the field of public relations.
In addition to winning the PR Consultant of the Year award, Hope McKellar PR also won the PR Firm of the Year award last year, demonstrating the company’s consistent excellence in its field.
Both years, Hope had the opportunity to meet the Prestige Awards team for a congratulatory photo opportunity and this year’s took place at the Oak Park Hotel in Basingstoke on Thursday, March 2.
Hope said: ‘When I won the award last year, I was absolutely over the moon so when I got the call again this year, I couldn’t believe it. I’ve worked so hard to build my business up to what it is now, and these kinds of recognition is what drives me forward to continue working to build something amazing.
‘Without the amazing local businesses of Portsmouth, I wouldn’t be where I am and I’m eternally grateful for the entrepreneurial community we have within the city. I’m so proud to be a part of it.’
Hope and her team have worked with a diverse range of clients, including well-known online personalities, local businesses, multinational organisations and charities.
Since launching in 2020 and starting out just offering simple press release services, Hope has expanded the company, now offering additional services such as social media management, photography and videography.
Hope’s team consists of young talented individuals from across the city who are experts in their fields and believes that keeping up to date with all of the current marketing trends is key to success in the industry.
She said: ‘The marketing landscape is changing every week, so it’s more important than ever to keep up with all of the trends to be one step ahead of the competition. I’m lucky to have such a talented and creative team.’
