Nuflow DFW, a licensed Plano sewer pipe lining company, has completed a trenchless pipe rehabilitation project at a Plano school, restoring aging sewer and drain lines without excavating the active campus.
The project used cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining, a no-dig method that forms a new structural pipe inside the existing one through existing access points. Because the work required no trenching through hallways, floors, or courtyards, the campus remained in use throughout the project, and the lined sections returned to service quickly.
Traditional excavation was not a practical option for the school. Digging through occupied corridors or paved areas would have closed parts of the campus for days and added the cost of demolition and restoration on top of the pipe work. The trenchless approach avoided that disruption.
The liner installed on the project is rated for a service life of more than 30 years and meets recognized industry standards for pulled-in-place CIPP. A camera inspection confirmed the condition of the lines before the work began and verified the finished result afterward.
