Verification reflects commitment to continuing company strength and growth PCL Group, global provider of IT and cyber security services, becomes one of only a small handful of IT companies in the region to be awarded ISO/IEC 27001:2022 which is the latest version of the standard, confirming it meets international-standard best practice in safeguarding client data from risks such as cyberattacks and data breaches.
In achieving this certification, which was the result of 12 months intense behind the scenes work, PCL Group collaborated closely with DNV, one of the world’s leading independent providers of accredited management systems certification to meet the scope of certification for Tailored Information Technology Services and Managed Security Detection & Response (MDR) offered to all business sectors globally.
As holders of sensitive data and information for customers around the world, the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 provides reassurance to customers that PCL Group has gone through a rigorous and exacting process including the embedding of a structured Information Security Management System (ISMS), demonstrating its capability of managing data securely and safely to protect customers’ critical business information.
It follows on from PCL Group electing to upgrade and recertify its ISO 9001 certification, the international standard for Quality Management Systems (QMS) at the end of 2025. The company already held ISO 9001 but took the decision to recertify with DNV to reflect market expectations for supplier best practice at the highest level.
Last year also saw the company make significant investment in a new cyber security service specifically tailored for SMEs through the provision of affordable cyber protection.
