On Thursday, January 29th, volunteers and supporters of Operation Come Home will gather at the corner of Bank and Gloucester street in Ottawa to spend 24 hours outdoors. This event will recognize supporters and raise awareness of the ways Operation Come Home is helping youth experiencing homelessness in Ottawa.
At the event, local MPP Catherine McKenney will speak about the work of the Ontario Government and the Trillium Foundation in supporting a new initiative to help youth expreinecing homelessness find and maintain full-time employment.
The event will recognize the Ontario Trillium Foundation’s support for social enterprises at Operation Come Home. Operation Come Home’s Executive Director, Board Chair Chris Day, and participants in OCH employment programs will be available for questions.
