NORTH WEST’S VOODOO AGENCY WINS COMPETITIVE TENDER TO LEAD BRANDING AND CAMPAIGN DELIVERY FOR WARRINGTON COMMUNITY INITIATIVE

Voodoo Agency has been selected to partner with Warrington Business Improvement District (BID) via Groundwork Cheshire, Lancashire & Merseyside to deliver awareness campaigns and brand development.

The Warrington Business Improvement District (BID) aims to enhance and promote Warrington’s commercial area to help businesses and the community thrive. Funded by businesses within the town, the area’s BID sees initiatives such as projects, services and events that benefit the local economy and raise the profile of Warrington as it aims to attract visitors, shoppers, investors and businesses.

The Warrington BID strives to create a thriving, competitive, and vibrant town centre by promoting these initiatives and highlighting the community at the heart of Warrington. Voodoo Agency, who won the work via a tender process, will partner Groundwork and Warrington BID to offer a comprehensive campaign that will include branding, business and consumer engagement, videography, competitions and paid advertising.

Selected as the strategic and expert partner, Voodoo Agency utilised its experience across more than two decades in shaping brand identities, showcasing spirit and personality whilst presenting design ideas as part of the tender process. As the chosen partners for this project, the team will support Warrington BID as it aims to elevate the local narrative of Warrington and bring it to new heights to help build the area’s profile. Voodoo Agency’s approach to brand development at tender used meticulous and nuanced thinking as they highlighted how they intend to weave together Warrington’s rich history and contemporary vibe through sophisticated design elements while maintaining a strong brand identity.

As part of the plans to showcase Warrington and its heritage as well as its strong community and values, Voodoo Agency highlighted plans to use locally inspired imagery to storytell, incorporate and celebrate local culture as well as highlighting Warrington’s unique landmarks and what the area can offer.

Simon Cocker, founder and MD of Voodoo Agency, commented: “We are delighted to partner with Groundwork on Warrington BID 2 and to have been able to celebrate the town and the culture that’s so deeply ingrained into the spirit of the area. As a North West business we’re proud to show the depth and breadth of talent, hard work and community spirit across the region, and this project brought us into the fold of Warrington and the many businesses and people that are striving to make it a thriving hub.

“We are committed to excellence in brand development and campaign artwork and this partnership with Groundwork reinforced our commitment to supporting community growth and prosperity in the North West. Our team showcased their expertise and experience during the tender and we look forward to creating a cohesive and compelling visual presence and blending tradition and innovation as part of the plans to reflect Warrington’s heritage as well as its exciting future.”

Amy Dawber, Warrington BID Manager from Groundwork, commented: “The Warrington Business Improvement District strives to enhance the business district in Warrington and cultivate a sense of community pride. Choosing Voodoo Agency was an easy decision. The combination of their proven expertise in brand development and campaign execution, as well as their understanding of local narratives and cultures, made them the ideal partner for this project.”
