Fiona Pedley runs Fiona-Your VA, a virtual assistant business helping dog trainers, groomers, walkers, canine treats and product makers with their admin tasks so they can get on with the work they enjoy.
From 2004 to 2018 she worked for Carillon and left her corporate career as an executive assistant to follow her passion for pups.
Fiona, who lives with Springer Spaniels Hollie and Kensi studied to become a dog trainer and decided she wanted to combine her experience providing support with her love of dogs and set up her Canine Virtual Assistant business.
Fiona said “I am absolutely over the moon to have this award from Theo, it’s hard setting up your own business, it was a leap of faith and to have this recognition from Theo, a Dragon and champion of entrepreneurs, after one year of being in business is fantastic.”
“I’m passionate about working with businesses in the canine industry and have really found my calling. I can help people with stressful admin tasks that they can’t stand doing so they can get on with working with the dogs and growing their businesses.”
“Things like email marketing and setting up online training courses can be overwhelming and a huge drain on their time, but I absolutely love doing them and helping them make a success.”
Small business champion and Ryman Stationery, Robert Dyas and Boux Avenue Chairman, Theo Paphitis, said: “We are thrilled to welcome new #SBS members every week and highlight just how important it is to support our small businesses here in the UK. My vision is that everyone who has ever won an #SBS re-tweet from me becomes part of a friendly club; like-minded individuals who can share successes and learnings. The website will also give a valuable profile to the winners chosen and I wish Fiona-Your VA every success.”
“Even in the darkest times something good is out there if you look for it as I have now found, Fiona-Your VA Virtual Assistant to the canine industry is what was hiding inside me for all those years.”
