Leading Nottingham-based insurance broker, Russell Scanlan, has secured a new sponsorship with renowned Nottinghamshire golf club, Beeston Fields Golf Club, as the club celebrates its Centenary Year.
Since Beeston Fields was established in 1923, the golf club has been a cherished landmark for golf enthusiasts in Nottinghamshire and beyond, hosting several big names in golf and measuring at over 6,400 yards. As the club embarks on its 100-year milestone, Russell Scanlan will sponsor Beeston Fields, participating in the ongoing events for The Centenary celebrations and showing its commitment for local and community-driven sports.
Mike Dickinson, Sales & Marketing Director at Russell Scanlan, commented: “We are so pleased to have the opportunities to collaborate with, and support, various companies and clubs throughout Nottingham. As a heritage brand ourselves, we take pride in the development of the region and the Beeston Fields sponsorship is a great example of how businesses can contribute to local initiatives.
“The team is looking forward to engaging with the club’s members and contributing to the success of this flourishing heritage brand – particularly as it enters its milestone year. It provides a perfect platform for us to connect with the community, foster relationships, and celebrate this momentous Centenary milestone together. We look forward to attending the exciting events and contributing to the ongoing success of Beeston Fields.”
The Centenary calendar for Beeston Fields features thrilling members’ golf competitions and a fun-filled 1920s-themed Hickory Day, complete with fancy dress and the use of traditional wooden clubs. Highlights so far include ‘A Night in the Roaring 20s’, a ball to celebrate The Centenary, which took place on June 17, 2023.
Russell Scanlan is Nottingham’s longest established insurance broker for the city and the region – celebrating 142 years in operation. The firm has also recently been awarded chartered status by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) for the sixth year in a row – one of only a handful of brokers in the East Midlands.
