Following significant growth and expansion into new product areas, The Diamond Controls Group has moved its head office to new larger premises in Norwich. The Lord Mayor of Norwich, Councillor Vivien Thomas, officially opened the fantastic new facility on 6th December.

The Diamond Controls Group includes Diamond Controls, specialists in Leak Detection Systems; Trace Heating Supplies, nVent RAYCHEM distributors of Trace Heating Products; and Diamond Services, electrical contractors.

Celebrating their 20th anniversary last year, the move is another significant milestone for the business as they look to build on their success and continue to expand their range of services to clients across the UK.

The purchase of the premises represents a significant investment for the business and helps to future-proof growth as Company Director, Iain Ames, said, “As the business has grown and we’ve expanded our team, so has the range of products on offer to our clients. We had outgrown our previous location so it was the perfect opportunity to turn these previously unoccupied units into a fantastic working space we are proud to call our own. This move has allowed the creation of new jobs at our Head Office in Norwich with further room to expand as the business grows. Our new facilities will enhance our capabilities as well as providing a welcoming and inspiring space for staff and visitors.”

The bright, modern premises span across two large units in a gated compound and are fitted out to include a full suite of offices, dedicated training and break-out rooms, and warehousing.

The warehouse facilities are more than double that of the previous premises allowing the business to stock a greater range of products. It was also an opportunity to enhance capabilities with specialist equipment during the fit-out including high rise racking, a pump truck, pallet stacker and barcode scanning devices. This project to introduce new equipment to the facility, is part-funded by Norfolk County Council through the Small Grant Scheme with business support from New Anglia Growth Hub.

The fit out was project managed by Diamond Controls with Norwich based building contractors, Saw Building and Landscaping, completing building work and support from local companies including Swaffham based Acorn Works, commercial interior specialists. Diamond Services completed all electrical works.
