Press Release

CHELTENHAM, UK - July 20, 2026

Newly established independent SEO agency Search Theory has announced that it has opened a new office space in the south-west of England after early success in 2026.

The expansion has come just months after the agency officially launched and after winning a number of new clients in early pitching rounds.

The new location in Montpellier, Cheltenham will provide a new base of operations for the team as they plan to expand over the coming year. Set among Regency architecture and surrounded by plenty of local green space, the location is also well connected with the rest of Southern England, with Cheltenham Spa station offering direct links to London, Bristol, Birmingham and Cardiff and easy access to the M5.

The expansion, led by co-founder Sara Kavanagh, aims to strengthen Search Theory’s presence in the south of England, where many newly hired team members are based and where the agency has begun to secure a new client base.

Sara Kavanagh, co-founder of Search Theory and who is overseeing the expansion, said:

“It’s exciting that we’re already at this stage in our journey. Expanding into the South has always been part of our plans, so it’s really rewarding to see it happen. In the past few months we’ve secured some exciting contracts and welcomed new people to the team, so now felt like the right time.

For forward thinkers, we are a little bit old-school. We love meeting with clients to figure out the absolute best ways to work together. For us this is about creating a place where everyone feels welcome and where we can continue to discover exciting new businesses to partner with.”

David Vernon, co-founder of Search Theory, said:

“2026 has been a crazy year for us so far. Setting up our northern office was an incredibly proud moment, and that is doubly so now for our new space down south. Setting up a new and independent agency has definitely come with its challenges, but this is a real marker for us that we’re moving in the right direction.

Cheltenham is an exciting place to build from. It’s home to a thriving business community full of incredible talent, making it a prime choice for us. It also has great links for many businesses both inside and outside of London so the sky is the limit in who we can partner with. Sara has done an incredible job leading the charge on our new location and I couldn’t be happier with the result. Excited to see where this takes us!”
