A Milton Keynes Sales Adviser has won an award for the quality of his work and dedication to his residents.
Tom Knowles, based at Barratt Homes’ Brooklands development in Milton Keynes, has won a prestigious Regional Sales Adviser of the Year award for his work onsite.
Originally from Bedfordshire, Tom’s face is the first that many new residents will see when they first arrive at the Fen Street development and has been working for the leading housebuilder for over 10 years.
He said: “I am really proud to have won this award. I love working with the customers as they complete their journey and get their dream home.
“I first started in the property industry as an estate agent which is where I learned about the new build side of the business. I often spoke with Barratt Homes Sales Advisers and I was impressed by their professionalism. It was clear the company had a focus on staff training to make sure clients are fully informed.
“Barratt Homes is a good employer as it always gives you the opportunity to grow with the business. I’m trusted to run the office and team effectively, which allows us to make recommendations for change if we believe it will help the customers.
“Every day in the sales team is different. A typical day can change in the blink of an eye but that’s what I love about the job!”
Tom’s award as Regional Sales Adviser of the Year is just the latest acknowledgement of the superb Brooklands team as a whole. Phil Ward and Jason Bond, Senior Site Managers at the development, also recently won NHBC Pride in the Job Quality awards for their high standards in construction.
In total Barratt Site Managers won 98 Pride in the Job Quality awards this year. This is the 18th year in a row that Barratt has won more Pride in the Job Quality awards than any other housebuilder, showing its long-term commitment to building high quality homes.
