Liverpool attraction nominated for prestigious national award

One of Liverpool’s finest tourist attractions has been nominated for a prestigious national award.

The stunning RLB360 activity, which cost more than £1million to install and provides visitors with a world-class experience, will battle it out against tourist hotspots from across the country in a bid to be crowned best Small Visitor Attraction of the Year at the respected VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2022.

RLB360 will be up against stellar competition in the category, including Liverpool’s popular British Music Experience, but its organisers are hoping for yet more awards success at the ceremony on June 8.

Operations manager at RLB360 Chris Devaney said: “After retaining our Liverpool City Region Small Visitor Attraction of the Year crown in 2022, we are delighted to have been nominated for this VisitEngland Award.

“Competition has been extremely strong, with more than 300 eligible attractions competing for the highest accolade in English tourism so we really are honoured to be a part of the shortlist.”

RLB360 has welcomed more than 50,000 visitors from across the world since opening its doors.

At the attraction, people can explore the building, marvel at the history and architecture on display and go behind-the-scenes to learn about the famous Royal Liver Building clocks.

Visitors can also make their way up to the 15th floor, just like Batman did in the recent blockbuster Hollywood movie, while getting up close and personal with the enormous Liver Birds, affectionately named Bella and Bertie, and overlooking the city after viewing a thrilling digital projection show.
