Jeremy Erndt, has been appointed as the lead technical expert in a series of high-impact dispute resolutions involving more than 2 gigawatts (GW) of utility-scale energy and data center infrastructure across global markets within 2025.
The disputes span large-scale solar, wind, battery storage, and mission-critical data center facilities, as well as high-voltage transmission and distribution (T&D) systems. Technical issues include suitability of design, equipment performance, grid integration, constructability, commissioning, performance ratios and operations and maintenance. Erndt’s role is focused on providing independent, technically rigorous evaluations to support resolution efforts across multiple jurisdictions and stakeholder groups.
“Resolving infrastructure disputes at this scale requires a detailed understanding of system architecture, equipment performance, and grid behavior under dynamic operating conditions,” said Erndt. “My objective is to deliver technically accurate assessments that support resolution strategies grounded in engineering integrity and operational resilience.”
Erndt’s appointment reflects his recognized expertise in energy systems engineering, electrical reliability, and strategic development and operational risk management. His contributions are expected to help clarify technical claims, reduce delays, and foster constructive engagement among developers, operators, manufacturers and investors.
