Jennifer Hadley Photography has announced two Tiger Trails wildlife photography departures in Central India for April 2027, expanding the program to include both a longer two-park itinerary and a shorter journey for travelers with less time available in India.
The 12-day Tiger Trails departure will operate from April 1–12, 2027, and travel through Kanha and Bandhavgarh National Parks. The itinerary combines two different landscapes and wildlife areas, with safari drives in both parks and a private transfer between the destinations.
The 8-day Tiger Trails departure will run from April 14–21, 2027. The eight-day itinerary focuses exclusively on Bandhavgarh National Park and is intended for photographers and wildlife enthusiasts who want to experience one of India’s established tiger destinations within a shorter time frame.
Both departures are limited to groups of between two and eight travelers, with two people allocated to each safari jeep. The vehicle arrangement provides additional room for cameras and longer lenses while giving photographers greater freedom of movement and clearer shooting positions during wildlife encounters.
Each itinerary includes morning and afternoon safari drives, as well as one dedicated full-day safari pass. The full-day pass allows the group to enter the park before general access, remain in the field during the middle of the day, and leave after the standard safari period. Tiger Trails is open to photographers with different levels of experience, as well as wildlife lovers and non-photographer companions. Each departure is personally hosted and led by award-winning wildlife photographer Jennifer Hadley, who provides hands-on photography guidance in the field and editing assistance at the accommodations.
Experienced local naturalist guides support the search for Bengal tigers and other wildlife throughout the journey. Kanha and Bandhavgarh are also home to leopards, sloth bears, wild dogs, Indian gaur, spotted deer, elephants, and varied birdlife. A previous traveler who joined one of Hadley’s tours with his photographer wife, said:

Both itineraries begin in New Delhi, where travelers spend the first night at a hotel near the airport. The group then flies to Jabalpur and continues to the national parks by private vehicle. The programs include accommodations, meals, internal flights within India, the Delhi hotel stay, airport pickup on arrival, private ground transportation, drinks, and photography guidance. The longer itinerary also includes the transfer between Kanha and Bandhavgarh. International flights to and from India and laundry are not included.
The two itinerary formats provide different approaches to the same wildlife photography experience: a longer journey across two national parks and a more concentrated safari within Bandhavgarh. Full itinerary details and current availability are available through the two Tiger Trails tour pages.
