Phoenix, AZ – January 19, 2026

I Ain’t No Herb Jackson Studios is proud to announce its Roku Channel and streaming app, Ain’t No Herb TV, which will promote independently made films from around the world.

The 2026 debut allowed founder and producer Herb Jackson to carefully select the short films, documentaries, and feature films he wanted to acquire, keeping the true spirit of each project in mind while working to share them with the masses.

“After experiencing the festival circuit firsthand and witnessing the unfortunate fact that many films fade away afterward, I felt compelled to create a dedicated platform for independent filmmakers,” Jackson says. “My goal is to especially support those who create short films, giving them the crucial opportunity to reach a significantly broader audience.”

Films will be added to the Ain’t No Herb TV database on a rolling basis, allowing fans to rewatch their favourites and explore new classics at their will, and the channel will be free for Roku viewers. The channel is also a downloadable app on the Apple App Store, the Google Play Store, and on Amazon Fire TV.

Some of the titles already added to Ain’t No Herb TV include works for which Jackson served as an executive producer, including Aguska, a short film by Tristan Lorraine and Fact Not Fiction Films. In Aguska, Melissa, a young British girl, is bullied at football for her lack of skill and for her wealth, but she works with her family to overcome it and unite the team and ensure everyone wins – in more ways than one.

The channel will be officially available to Roku subscribers and on the aforementioned apps on February 15th and will feature 24/7 programming, rotating between the pieces on a regular basis. New films will be added to the channel on a rolling basis, as the studio acquires the rights to more independent projects.

“My goal is to provide an additional avenue for indie filmmakers, as I understand the challenges they face,” Jackson says. “I hope that through collaboration, we can expand the platform and establish Ain’t No Herb TV as the premier destination for independent short films.”
