Home Surveys Business Owner Acknowledged by Prestigious Industry Accolade

Local Gloucestershire business owner, James Quinn, has been shortlisted for his success in growing residential property surveying brand, GB Home Surveys, by prestigious industry awards, the RICS Matrics Surveyor Awards 2023.

Dedicated to celebrating the exceptional work and achievements of surveying professionals, the RICS Matrics Surveyor Awards 2023 is now in its 10th year and plays a significant role in supporting and celebrating young professionals and their achievements and contributions to the industry.

With its ‘annual night of celebration’ taking place on the 20th October 2023 at the Londoner, the RICS Matrics awards event is designed to inspire future talent and raise the overall standard of excellence throughout the field.

In being shortlisted for ‘Residential Property Surveyor Award’ – an accolade designed to reward ‘the outstanding talent of an individual who achieves exceptional results and provides quality customer service in residential property’ – James has been recognised as one of just 11 leading residential surveyors across the UK.

James Quinn, Director of GB Home Surveys confirmed: “I am both elated and humbled to be recognised for my contributions to the surveying industry and wider residential property sector.

Over the last 6 years, the team and I have worked incredibly hard to establish the GB Home Surveys brand as a home survey provider of choice on both a regional and national scale, and this industry acknowledgement is not only a testament to my achievements – but also to the dedication of my team.

I now look forward to the awards evening and celebrating the accomplishments of my fellow nominees and wish all other finalists the best of luck.”

Originally established as Gooch and Burley Chartered Surveyors in April 1992, GB Home Surveys was acquired by James Quinn in 2016 and is now recognised as a leading residential property survey provider, having significantly increased market share and launched its own unique online quoting tool.

This latest news follows a successful period of growth for the brand, having accelerated revenue and expanded into a new 1000 SQ FT commercial premises in Maisemore, Gloucester over the last 12 months alone.
