UK-headquartered global recruitment company, Gravitas Recruitment Group, are pleased and excited to announce the acquisition of both of the Hamlyn Williams’ Hong Kong and Shenzhen operations. This latest acquisition is another major step in Gravitas Recruitment Group’s ambitious growth and expansion plan and will continue to strengthen the company’s presence in our already strong Asia markets.
Hamlyn Williams, a trusted global provider of staffing solutions in the technology, financial services, fintech, cyber security, life sciences and manufacturing sectors, have made the decision to continue to grow their existing presence in the UK, EU and US markets. The next stage in their strategy has been to carefully navigate a process to find the best possible home for their Hong Kong and Shenzhen operations. Hamlyn Williams’ decision was based upon many contributing factors – ultimately convinced that Gravitas would continue to nurture their employees, offering vital career progression, as well as providing high-quality systems, technological investment, and geographical reputation. Gravitas was therefore chosen as the best-in-class to support the Hamlyn Williams teams to serve their clients, candidates and markets across the Hong Kong and Shenzhen areas – very much aligning with Gravitas’ key purpose to create solutions to empower their Clients, Candidates & Employees ambitions.
The acquisition is another exciting step in Gravitas’ growth strategy, which has included three major milestones in 2022 – the appointment of a new Chief Revenue Officer, Kurt Schreurs, and the expansion into Germany with the opening of new offices in both Munich and Frankfurt under Guido Sieber in September and January respectively. Additionally, the other key expansion into the Netherlands through the acquisition of R2 Group in December, which brought the company’s impressive global footprint to 9 offices across 5 countries.
