Nineteen exceptional changemakers from Asia and Africa selected for global recognition
BacharLorai Global today announced the recipients of its Impact 25 Under 25 recognition, highlighting 19 exceptional young leaders from across the low- and middle- income countries (LMICs) in the Global South who are advancing innovative solutions to pressing social challenges in their communities.
Impact 25 Under 25 is a social welfare program by BacharLorai designed to spotlight young changemakers under the age of 25 whose work is creating measurable social impact. The program seeks to bridge the gap between visibility and impact for youth leaders who are often underrecognized and under-resourced in global decision-making spaces.
The 2026 cohort includes leaders from seven countries across Asia and Africa, working across areas such as climate justice, gender equality, education, entrepreneurship, and digital inclusion. Their work directly contributes to advancing key global priorities, including the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals: Quality Education (SDG 4), Gender Equality (SDG 5), Climate Action (SDG 13), Good Health and Well-Being (SDG 3), Decent Work and Economic Growth (SDG 8), and Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17).
The program identifies individuals aged 18 to 25 who are actively leading initiatives that create measurable positive social change. Applicants must demonstrate sustained engagement with their initiatives and clear evidence of community impact.

Anika Akram Orpi — for advancing menstrual health awareness in Bangladesh, breaking harmful taboos and empowering over 100,000 girls through youth-led advocacy and education.
Philip Gyimah Appiah — for his work in democratizing venture building through AI in Africa’s emerging startup ecosystem, supporting early-stage startups across sectors including agriculture, healthcare, finance, and education.
Atoshi Karim — for advancing climate justice in Bangladesh through youth advocacy and storytelling, amplifying the voices of climate-vulnerable communities and bridging grassroots realities with policy dialogue.
Hashir Mughal — for fostering youth leadership and global dialogue in Pakistan through the creation and leadership of the TCSMUN conference and engagement in international leadership platforms.
Promise Kumbukani Chipeta — for advancing youth empowerment and survivor advocacy in Malawi through community leadership, storytelling, and the creation of safe spaces for healing and opportunity.
Pooja Rani Chowdhury — for advancing youth engagement and climate advocacy in Bangladesh, empowering young people to take climate action and strengthening nationwide networks for environmental sustainability.
Spendilove Konadu Forson — for strengthening menstrual health access and gender advocacy in Ghana through community initiatives that expand education and reproductive health resources in rural areas.
Garba Issa Idris — for promoting environmental sustainability in Nigeria through youth leadership and campus initiatives that encourage environmental protection.
Gerophine Madjoa Morrison — for advocating for survivors of sexual violence in Ghana, creating safe spaces for girls to speak out and supporting efforts to pursue justice.
Victoria Chidinma Nwanne — for advancing disability inclusion and stuttering awareness in Nigeria, amplifying marginalized voices and promoting inclusive education.
Ubalda Mensah — for empowering girls in rural Ghana through mentorship and community programs that support leadership and confidence building.
Dzifianu Afi Edoh-Torgah — for advancing girls’ education and leadership development in Africa through literacy and community advocacy initiatives.
Fahim Tajnowhat — for strengthening financial governance and operational systems for grassroots climate and community initiatives in Bangladesh.
Adigao Alvin Wenia — for championing climate leadership and environmental education in Ghana through youth mentorship and sustainability initiatives.
Mahmoud Issa Kromah — for empowering young women in Liberia through digital literacy programs that support leadership and peace-building.
Amena Mustary Twoaseen — for mobilizing youth for climate action and sustainable development in Bangladesh through renewable energy and climate justice initiatives.
Joycelyn Ampong Yeboah — for promoting digital awareness and youth engagement in Ghana through research and community dialogue on social media’s impact.
Odoom Stanley — for building local entrepreneurship in Ghana through an innovative student-focused food brand promoting affordable nutrition.
Eric Addo Junior Bidopa — for expanding access to affordable mathematics education in Africa through digital learning tools that strengthen foundational skills.
