The commercial law firm Glaisyers ETL has announced a raft of promotions across its Legal 500-listed Real Estate, Commercial Litigation and Creative, Digital and Marketing practices. These include a new partner as well as three associates.
Kathryn O’Rourke has been promoted to the position of partner in the Real Estate team. Previously a senior associate, she has been with the Manchester-headquartered firm since 2020, having joined shortly after qualification.
Ms O’Rourke’s specialist areas include commercial property and high-value complex residential property. She has particular expertise in finance and dealing with distressed assets and recoveries, working alongside financial institutions, LPA receivers and insolvency professionals.
Also rising through the ranks in the Real Estate team is Jasmin Knowles, who has become an associate. Ms Knowles, who qualified in 2024, joined Glaisyers ETL as a solicitor last year.
She acts predominantly for investors, developers and financial institutions including challenger banks and bridging lenders. She also has significant experience of insolvency-related matters.
The firm’s highly regarded Commercial Litigation team, meanwhile, has promoted solicitor Sam Garrett to the role of associate. Mr Garrett joined Glaisyers ETL in 2023, having qualified earlier that year.
He focuses in particular on financial litigation matters involving the recovery of assets. He acts for a wide range of clients including banks, building societies, SMEs and individuals.
Completing the trio of associate promotions is Peter Pegasiou, who joined Glaisyers ETL’s Creative, Digital and Marketing team as a solicitor in 2024. A commercial and intellectual property specialist, he focuses in particular on the creative sector.
Prior to working as a lawyer, Mr Pegasiou was a professional singer/songwriter and guitarist, fronting the band VYNCE, which amassed more than a million streams and performed on the same bill as Noel Gallagher, Blossoms and The 1975. He now advises creative individuals and organisations, and is a strong advocate for fairer protections and clearer rights for creatives in the digital age.

These promotions follow the appointment in late 2025 of Hamza Mustafa as a senior associate in the firm’s Legal 500-ranked Private Client department. Glaisyers ETL is currently looking to add a further solicitor to this team and, firm-wide, is seeking applicants for the next round of its training programme.
