Flextech Hose Solutions is pleased to announce the appointment of Tony Vella as Operations Director. This new role marks a well-deserved promotion, recognising Tony’s extensive industry experience, proven leadership, and ongoing contribution to the company’s success.
Tony brings a 30-year track record to his new position, having worked across every level of the hose manufacturing business from hands-on in production to a branch and customer manager. Beginning his journey back in the late 1980s for Flexible Hose Supplies Ltd, a family-run predecessor of Flextech, Tony has developed a deep expertise in technical sales, operations, and customer service and satisfaction.
Since joining Flextech two years ago, Tony has played a pivotal role in strengthening client relationships and driving new business, proving he is a driven leader with a passion for operational excellence.
In his position, Tony will be responsible for driving and developing Flextech’s production capabilities across its Slough and Northampton sites, with a focus on hygienic rubber, silicone, and PTFE hose assemblies. His role will also include improving production and operational efficiency across both manufacturing and internal sales/customer support functions, while working closely with the external sales and engineering team to ensure every opportunity is maximised.
He will also collaborate with Flextech’s group purchasing department to streamline stock management processes and enhance supply chain efficiency across both locations.

Tony will be supervising a team of ten people across production and sales, spanning Slough and Northampton sites, as well as overseeing the company’s day-to-day operations. His responsibilities will include improving the accessibility of stock, refining production workflows, and ensuring customer service remains at the heart of everything the business does.
