A leading Northern law firm has appointed a new legal director in its employment team as it eyes continued growth across the region.
Ward Hadaway has welcomed Charlotte Nuttall to its Manchester office. Charlotte has over a decade of specialist experience in employment law. Throughout her career, she has advised on a wide range of employment and HR legal matters ranging from disciplinaries, grievances and performance management issues to redundancy exercises, re-structure processes and TUPE.
Charlotte has worked with a diverse range of businesses, from PLCs to privately owned SMEs in many sectors, providing pragmatic, commercially focused advice to HR personnel and other decision makers on all aspects of employment law.
Her focus is on continuing the growth of the Manchester employment team, extending the reach and further building its reputation as a leading adviser in employment law matters across the North West region.

With offices in Leeds, Manchester and Newcastle, Ward Hadaway is one of Northern England’s leading law firms. The Manchester team is 55-people strong and the firm has made significant investments into its workforce and infrastructure, and recently underwent an extensive transformation of the Manchester office to create a modern, agile workplace. In 2022, the office reported a strong financial performance with an increase of more than 25 per cent in turnover.
