Specialist recruitment agency Talent Locker has developed a new video series to support workplace professionals and employers keep up-to-date and informed on the ever-evolving world of workplace change.
Led by Talent Locker’s Workplace Recruitment Specialist James Saunders, he asks for the good, the bad, the weird, and the wonderful from experts working across 7 different sectors.
In interview style, the short videos were conducted to explain more about how office life is transforming from the people actually implementing the changes; to learn how organisations are attracting workers back into the office, what is working, what mistakes have been made, and whether there has been any entertainment along the way.
As Business Development Director, James tells us:
“It is important to learn about workplace change and transformation from the individuals actually making the improvements, not just talking about them.
In recent years the importance of transformational roles has really come to light. During the pandemic, many organisations were completely unprepared for the move to working from home. Now we’re seeing those same organisations shift slowly back to the office – or into a hybrid model.
I wanted to speak to the people behind it all, to learn what’s working and what isn’t. Not only in terms of the physical changes but also in the improvements made for employees’ wellbeing in the diverse world we live.
Workplace Change roles are so important and cover a broad range of responsibilities. It’s great to see the growth of these types of roles as organisations see their true value.
Positive trends show that Workplace Change is high up on the agenda and talked about more seriously in the boardroom. Conversely, delays and conflicts of interest are common within the market and adversely affect the completion of projects.
