Ecommpay provides payments guidance for accountants supporting small businesses
Marketing Activity with ICAEW provides access to payments expertise and tools to help small businesses compete and grow
Inclusive global payments platform, Ecommpay, has signed a marketing campaign with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) to reach its small business communities with valuable payments insights and guidance.
The ICAEW is the world-leading professional membership and regulatory body for chartered accountants with over 170,000 qualified members across 150 countries. It operates a dedicated Small and Micro Business Community and a Small Practitioners Community, both of which Ecommpay aims to reach, to directly support UK small business growth.
“Our dedicated communities serve the accountants and advisers who guide UK small businesses on a variety of financial aspects including payments, banking and cash flow management,” commented Rick Asiyani, Head of Commercial Partnerships. “The sponsored content from Ecommpay will provide access to a wealth of payments knowledge for our members working with small businesses.”
Ecommpay’s self-serve payments platform is designed for UK-registered small businesses selling online. At the heart of the new platform is the capability to go live within hours of onboarding , using the Ecommpay Hosted Payment Page, at a highly competitive transaction rate and without any volume threshold.
Max Ryzhov, Chief Product Officer, Ecommpay added: “Small businesses often face limitations in the payment options they are able to provide to their customers, as their smaller volumes mean they cannot access enterprise-quality payment infrastructure. At Ecommpay we are committed to inclusive payments for all businesses and individuals and have designed and built a dedicated small business self-serve payments platform to resolve this challenge.
“We aim to provide accountants and financial advisers working with small businesses with access to practical, easy to implement guidance on payments infrastructure that they can share with their clients.”
With Ecommpay for Small Businesses, merchants can go live within a day of onboarding, and with a direct plugin for WooCommerce, Magento 2 and Xero no developer involvement is required. The fully brandable Hosted Payment Page, which has been accredited for accessibility by the Digital Accessibility Centre, is also built-in as a default, to be launched from the merchant Dashboard without any technical resource.
The new solution includes Visa and Mastercard and Apple Pay and Google Pay as standard, payment links for social commerce and B2B bespoke orders, and a basic recurring payment capability. Plus, all features operate within a single merchant account and a unified Dashboard – removing the reconciliation complexity that often arises from managing multiple payment tools.
