Currency Choice and Try Again features shortlisted for
Best eCommerce Payment Solution

Inclusive global payments platform, Ecommpay, has been shortlisted as a finalist in the 2026 eCommerce Awards, for the Best eCommerce Payment Solution category. The shortlisting recognises Ecommpay’s commitment to innovation, supporting merchants around the world to provide customers with the best possible payments experience.

The eCommerce Awards, launched in 2007, celebrate the most innovative and market leading initiatives and products in the online retail space. Gold, Silver and Bronze trophy winners will be announced in each category at an awards ceremony in London on 23rd September. The ceremony forms part of the eCommerce Expo, which brings together some of the best industry minds.

Ecommpay gives merchants a one-stop solution to underpin expansion strategies without significant investment or multiple payment partners. More than 100 APMs are available through one integrated payment platform, ensuring a seamless payment journey with familiar payment methods for every customer, regardless of geography.

To further support merchants and make payments seamless for customers, Ecommpay merchant partners can present customers with a choice of currencies on the payment page so that they can always pay in their preferred currency. The Ecommpay ‘Try Again’ feature also means that if a first payment method fails, the customer can retry or choose an alternative method within the same transaction.

Max Ryzhov, Chief Product Officer, Ecommpay commented: “These seemingly simple changes to the payment journey have helped reduce declines and prevented customers from abandoning checkout. We are delighted these innovations have been recognised in the eCommerce Awards programme. The shortlisting is testament to the expertise and dedication of our entire team, and confirms the importance of these developments in the journey to make payments inclusive and frictionless for every customer.”
