Ellon, Scotland – DMF Engineering, a locally based engineering and precision machining company in Ellon, has been awarded a significant contract from a leader in downhole wireless solutions for the oil and gas industry. The order includes the manufacture of 500 units, comprising thousands of precision-engineered parts that will support the customers downhole tool deployments across the global oil sector.
The scope of the project involves multiple complex setups and leverages DMF Engineering’s comprehensive range of custom tooling. This includes CNC folding, CNC press forming, and CNC part numbering for all components involved in the build.
With deep expertise in Welding, Fabrication, and CNC Machining, DMF Engineering specialise in manufacturing durable components for harsh and demanding environments. Their experience in producing everything from robust downhole tool components to surface-level bracketry and frames enables them to deliver full turnkey solutions, even on short lead times.
