The Darcy Group, established in 1935, has taken on a third building in Merseyside to expand technical production of its drain closure systems and pollution monitoring alarms. With this addition, the company now operates five buildings, including its Leeds operations site and Kent headquarters.
Rapid growth across both product lines has driven this expansion. The rise of the digital infrastructure sector has increased demand for tertiary containment solutions, while tightening environmental regulations have boosted sales of pollution monitoring alarms, including those for oil water separators. Serving both end customers — with full installation, commissioning, and maintenance — and separator manufacturers with white-labelled products, Darcy’s technical production team has scaled up to meet demand across all markets.

As part of the expansion, the company is investing in higher-capacity, automated PCB manufacturing equipment to ensure production can keep pace with future growth. The move also coincides with key appointments in 2026, including a new Sales Manager for Darcy Spillcare, joining in January.
