SDL Minorfern announce occupancy creating employment
Industrial real estate specialists Commercial Property Partners (CPP) has completed the sale of the Newhall Road scheme, in north Sheffield.
The self-contained terrace units at 218-228 Newhall Road were purchased by Chesterfield-based real estate investors, Holland Trinity Ltd.
The 21,381 sq. ft. property, most recently having been occupied as a single unit, sits on a 0.85-acre site and comprises of industrial and warehouse units with ancillary office accommodation. Externally the premises benefit from a dedicated yard and car parking areas with several loading bays to the rear.
Two thirds of the property will be occupied by SDL Minorfern, a family run business of over 45 years which has become one of the UK’s leading distributors of replacement parts for cars and vans. SDL Minorfern, which also offers an extensive range of motor oils, garage equipment and consumables will be undertaking a refurbishment programme for the space and in doing so creating roles and employment to support the local economy.
The remaining 6,500 sq ft unit will become available to let following current redevelopment works.

The scheme sits in close proximity to a number of the city’s prime leisure offerings, being close to the English Institute of Sport Sheffield, Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park & Centertainment. Meadowhall Shopping Centre lies just 1.5 miles to the North East. Other occupiers in the vicinity include Hermes, Abtech and Grip-Bar.
