cortave is designed to sit in the path of every inference request without changing how applications are built: no SDK rewrite and no migration. The platform brings four capabilities together at the point where cost is created:
- Multi-model routing: each request is directed to the right model for the workload, so premium models are reserved for high-value work.
- Semantic caching: repeated and near-duplicate requests are served from cache instead of being regenerated, removing redundant inference.
- In-path policy and guardrails: routing rules, spend policies, and request-level controls are applied before a token bill is created, not reviewed after the fact.
