Press Release

A retirement village in Wiltshire that underwent a £500k refurbishment has been given a ringing endorsement from its residents.

The 68-unit Chantry Court was acquired by Integrated Retirement Communities (IRC) specialists Untold Living back in 2022.

The complex, which boasts a range of amenities including a restaurant, a library and hair salon, as well as an on-site care team, offers residents the chance to live independently while also being able to enjoy a friendly and supportive environment.

Last year Untold invested £500k in refurbishing a number of areas of the village – with residents now giving them a resounding approval in a recent survey.

The survey, which is part of Untold’s commitment to giving residents a voice, saw 76 per cent state they were ‘extremely satisfied’ with life at Chantry Court.

A further 22 per cent said they were satisfied, while 78 per cent revealed they would actively recommend the village to family and friends.

Elsewhere, the retirement village’s in-house CQC registered care team received an average score of 9.5 out of 10 from residents.

General manager, Rafael Marques, believes the survey results underline what Untold is all about – allowing residents to live on their own terms with a real sense of community.

He said: “Our mantra at Untold is to create an environment that is centred around the residents, ensuring they are comfortable and feel happy in a vibrant and welcoming community.

“To hear the results of this survey, that our residents are extremely satisfied with our team, is so rewarding.

“The results reflect the hard work and commitment of the team who go above and beyond every day to support residents.

“Our goal is not just about creating a home, it is about creating a friendly neighbourhood where residents can thrive, build friendships and enjoy themselves.

“This feedback shows we’re succeeding in creating a place where later life feels like a new beginning, where people feel more connected and life feels bigger again.”
