Preston - February 2, 2026

The UK’s largest celebration of women in business, the Enterprise Vision Awards (the EVAS), is coming to Wales for the first time.

The EVAS Wales Information Event will take place on Tuesday 24 February at the Cardiff Marriott, bringing together women from every stage and size of business; from early-stage startups to established scaleups, founders and senior leaders, as well as inspirational women driving change in their industries and communities. It promises a day of discovery, inspiration and meaningful connection.

The EVAS, now in their 15th year, are renowned for recognising and championing women who are changing industries, communities and the economic landscape. Far more than a single night of celebration, the EVAS are known for their electric atmosphere, real camaraderie and a community that continues long after the trophies are handed out.

This event will introduce women in business to the awards, the categories, the benefits of entering, and the opportunities that come from being part of the EVAS community.

Guest speakers will share their EVAS journeys and the impact the awards have had on their businesses. Newport’s Lucy Cohen, Co-Founder of Mazuma and winner of the EVAS2025 Scale Up Award, is a well-known figure in the Welsh business community. She will offer honest insights into scaling a company, navigating challenge and change, and how entering, and ultimately winning, an EVAS elevated her profile and accelerated her growth.

Julianna Woods and Katie Summers, founders of The Mellow Patch Company from Cwmbran, have achieved the remarkable feat of securing two EVAS titles in consecutive years: New Business in 2024 and Retail Business in 2025. They took social media by storm with their entrepreneurial story and viral content, building a fiercely loyal customer base that fuelled rapid growth. Their success has recently expanded across the Atlantic with the launch of their brand in the US market. Julianna and Katie will share the momentum the EVAS created for their business, how visibility transformed their opportunities, and why they believe more Welsh women should step confidently into the spotlight.

Coral Horn, Founder of the EVAS said “Wales is full of talented, bold and brilliant women who deserve to be seen, celebrated and supported. The EVAS aren’t just an awards night, they’re a movement. Our finalists gain visibility, connections and opportunities that transform their businesses. We’ve already had three exceptional Welsh winners, and we’re ready to meet many more.”

The morning session is free. The full-day ticket includes lunch, a panel talk with a deep dive into the challenges female entrepreneurs are facing. Limited exhibitor spots are also available for local makers, creatives, and brands who want to shine a spotlight on their work.

Wales has always had a strong entrepreneurial heartbeat, this event is the next chapter in that story. For tickets and more information visit https://enterprisevisionawards.co.uk/information-event-wales/
