RedKangaroo Reading will close for refurbishment on the 12th of August, reopening as Oxygen Activeplay in time for October half-term
RedKangaroo Reading will undergo a full transformation from 12th August, closing for six weeks for extensive refurbishment, reopening in October as Oxygen Reading.
Designed to bring to life Oxygen Activeplay’s focus on encouraging people to stay active through play, while also having some big-time fun, Oxygen Reading will include a long list of state-of-the-art equipment, experiences and activities.
The refurbished park will centre around thirty-two trampolines, including five long bed trampolines, twenty-six single trampolines and one long tumble track, for jumpers looking to perfect a routine or learn a new skill.
Oxygen Reading will also feature the brand’s signature Excite Tunnel, parkour-style stunt areas and a mega air-bag and trapeze, which are all popular activities from other Oxygen parks across the country.
The new-and-improved park will also feature new activities and areas for the Oxygen brand. The Gauntlet Run will allow guests to compete in a series of obstacles and challenges in a race against the clock, and a new Toddler Zone will include mini trampettes, a mini air-bag, an obstacle course and a ball pool, making sure the under 5’s don’t miss out.
A state-of-the-art, interactive sports pitch will introduce guests to Basket Battle, Hotshot and more games based on sports such as basketball and football, giving guests the chance to hone their skills in new and exciting ways.
The refurbishment will also include transformed party areas, and a cafe, with a new, enhanced food and drink menu for guests to enjoy.
Oxygen Reading will join Oxygen Activeplay’s impressive roster of eight indoor activity parks across England.
