Blenheim Palace announce ‘Past and Present’, a community exhibition of local artists

Past and Present, the next exhibition coming soon to the Stables café at Blenheim Palace by the Artists in Woodstock group brings together 21 talented local artists from Woodstock and the surrounding villages.

At Blenheim, they believe that understanding the past is instrumental to appreciate the present and to better prepare the future. Involvement in art, heritage and culture has the power to enrich all of our lives and exploring the Palace, grounds, collections and exhibitions should be inspiring and enjoyable.

The artists include a mix of first-time exhibitors and established professional artists across a variety of mediums, including paint, photography and sculpture. The diverse range of artists are each at different stages of their artistic careers and we are thrilled to be able to support their journey.

The group have explored their own personal histories, and present experiences to create their works and include literal interpretations of images of the locale, but also more personal and abstract art.

The Stables café is open 10am-5pm daily. Valid Palace, Park and Gardens tickets are required to visit the exhibition. Buy one day, and get 12 months free when you choose to donate your admission ticket cost to Blenheim Palace. As a charity, ticket donations are vital for the restoration and conservation, but also gifts the chance to discover Britain’s Greatest Palace and all it has to offer throughout the year.
