Belbin Ltd, provider of the globally trusted gold-standard tool for developing high performing teams, is proud to announce the details of its highly anticipated International Team Conference, taking place at Hinxton Hall near Cambridge on 16th – 17th July 2024.
The Belbin International Team Conference promises a dynamic programme featuring professionals and experts from across the globe, presenting cutting-edge insights and sharing real-world experiences and applications of using Belbin to transform teams across different industries.
Belbin Team Roles is synonymous with identifying and understanding the strengths individuals can bring to a team, and how those useful behaviours can be managed on a practical basis to develop effective teams. It gives people a trusted and practical language to understand their contribution to the team and gives managers a usable framework to understand what contributions the team needs to succeed. Over 2 days the conference will provide leaders, managers, HR and L&D professionals, start-up founders – anyone who works with teams – with tangible and practical take-aways around managing and overcoming the challenges they can face when building and developing teams.
Keynote speakers include Deepak Deshpande, VP & Head Customer Experience at Tata Business Excellence Group. The Tata Business Excellence Model has been deployed across more than 850 Tata companies over 26 years. The keynote will explore the core values of the model and the ‘how’ of deployment. A further confirmed keynote is Gary Shewan, Retail Learning & Development Business Partner at Legal & General, who will be looking at the process behind a talent development programme which helped Legal & General to achieve two Princess Royal Training Awards.
Over twenty workshops will offer further learning opportunities covering a broad range of topics, including team psychological safety, team dynamics, experiential learning and effective decision making in recruitment. A case study on work conducted with teams at a major contractor to the US Department of Energy will also feature.

The conference will be held at Hinxton Hall Conference Centre, set in the grounds of the Wellcome Genome Campus at Hinxton, near Cambridge.
