AT-RACK, a UK developer and provider of secure data destruction and sanitisation solutions, is highlighting its Mobile Destruction System, MDS, to defence organisations, military operators and ITAD providers supporting the defence sector at the upcoming ITAD & E Waste Expo 2026. This forms part of the Circular Tech Expo taking place on 13 and 14 October at the Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre.
Designed for highly mobile operations, the MDS provides a customisable on-site data destruction platform that can be adapted for different environments, storage media and operational requirements. The system is designed to enable organisations to destroy sensitive data where it is held, reducing the need to transport intact data bearing media between locations. The MDS can be configured for HDD and SSD destruction, with options including degaussing and crushing. AT-RACK also offers mobile shredding solutions for organisations requiring additional physical destruction capabilities across different types of digital media as well as bespoke unit design.
The flexible approach is intended to support a range of defence environments, from fixed secure facilities and data centres to forward operating bases, NATO command structures, and maritime environments, subject to specific operational requirements.
For defence focused ITAD providers, the MDS provides an additional on-site custom destruction service that providers can deploy at customer locations on the go, helping eliminate chain of custody exposure risks while giving customers total control over the destruction of sensitive media. The system incorporates customisable audit logging and full traceability and audit functionality, supporting the creation of records for destruction activities and helping organisations maintain a verified list of all destroyed media.
Commenting on the defence sector needs for secure destruction, Sam Adetoso, Head of Business Development at AT-RACK, said: “Defence environments need data destruction solutions that can operate where the data is, rather than relying on sensitive media being transported to a fixed facility. MDS has been developed around that requirement, with a configurable platform that can be adapted to different media, environments and operational needs. We want to work with defence organisations and specialist ITAD providers to understand their specific requirements and demonstrate how a mobile data destruction capability can be integrated into their existing processes.”
Defence sector organisations and ITAD providers are invited to visit AT-RACK at stand B20 to discuss specific media, deployment, and operational requirements. A free demo of the solution can also be requested.
