Amplify Women Tampa Bay (AWTB) is proud to announce Dr. Sandra Braham, President and CEO of Gulf Coast Jewish Family and Community Services (JFCS), as the keynote speaker for its 2026 Annual Summit. Now in its third year, the Annual Summit returns August 7-8th for two transformative days designed to equip, inspire, and connect the women who are steering our region forward.
A recognized keynote speaker and trainer, Dr. Braham consistently inspires diverse audiences to lead with integrity and authenticity, a message that aligns deeply with AWTB’s mission and the women it serves. Dr. Braham leads one of the region’s most expansive social services organizations, overseeing a $60 million agency with more than 550 employees and 50 programs spanning child welfare and adoption, elder services, behavioral health, workforce development, housing, and refugee resettlement. Under her leadership, the organization has grown by $28 million in revenue. She is also the driving force behind the nationally award-winning CALL program, a groundbreaking initiative that dispatches social workers to non-violent 911 calls, redefining how communities respond to crises.
A trailblazer in civic leadership, Dr. Braham made history as the first African American woman to Chair the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce Board. She holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas at El Paso and has completed executive education through Harvard Business School’s Strategic Perspectives in Nonprofit Management program. She is a published author whose memoir, An Angel for Detroit, released in 2022, chronicles the personal journey that shaped her into the leader she is today.
The Amplify Women Tampa Bay Summit will take place August 7-8th at The James Museum of Western & Wildlife Art. Tickets are available now online.
